  • Be responsible for the overall Clinical Care within the facility
  • Deliver and coordinate training and educational programs to take clinical care in the facility to the next level
  • Manage, support, coach, monitor, and mentor the clinical care team in the provision of quality care. Identify competencies of staff and identifying areas of improvement
  • Collect and analyse information to monitor trends and identify areas to improve upon
  • Participate in Clinical Audits and Accreditation, ensuring all care documentation is completed and appropriate strategies identified
  • Proactively identify clients’ deterioration, reassessing and follow up to ensure goals and outcomes are updated and met with all stakeholders with person centred care
  • Support residents and their families by addressing queries, comments, suggestions, or concerns.

 

The successful candidate:

  • Must be a current AHPRA Registered Nurse Division 1 with Aged Care experience
  • Have basic knowledge of ACFI accreditation and funding tools
  • Previous NDIS desirable
  • Be passionate about driving and delivering clinical excellence
  • Hold a current National Police Clearance
  • Is passionate about caring for the aged with the ability to ignite the same in others
  • Able to communicate with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with strong planning skills
  • Able to identify and manage clinical risk in the aged care setting
  • Able to proactively lead, coach and develop staff
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
