Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client delivers a range of large-scale electrical installations. They are respected as an innovative, responsive and collaborative presence in the industry, and they pride themselves on delivering excellent customer service.

They are now looking for an experience Accounts Payable Clerk for their expanding Balcatta location. The successful candidate will be immersed in a company that focuses on electrical projects, maintenance services, fuel systems, and places a large emphasis on corporate sustainability.


AP duties for this role will include:

  • Creating new creditors and purchase orders 
  • Checking and processing supplier invoices in line with company procedures 
  • AP data entry and reconciliation
  • Purchasing stock and office supplies  
  • Reconciling and processing credit cards 
  • Following up on missing invoices 

Other duties for this role will include:

  • Preparing payroll and input timesheets 
  • Working with the CFO to compile weekly payroll 
  • Invoicing clients 
  • Producing and sending calibration certificates 
  • Reporting faults
  • Providing reception relief


The successful candidate will need:

  • Minimum of 5 years' end-to-end AP and payroll experience
  • Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook proficiency 
  • Full availability from May to November
  • Accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication 
  • The unrestricted right to work in Australia

Assessment Matrix design
