Video job advertisement

Social media algorithms favour videos over still content, so we create video advertisements for all vacancies to help source our candidates.

We constantly refresh, rewrite and reformat our job advertisements to optimise the quality of applications received. Our approach is aggressive - we post around 20 advertisements for every permanent job. Advertisements are posted on:

  • Job boards - Seek, Adzuna, Glassdoor, Indeed and Jora
  • Social media - LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
  • 11 Recruitment's website

On average, our advertisements receive over 100 applications and perform well above the market benchmark for Seek, shown in this graph.

Our client is a global services company, specialising in automated mineralogical and textural analysis of geological samples. They offer onsite, bureau, and turnkey scanning services for both small- and large- scale drilling programmes, including mobile laboratory facilities.

They are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to assist them in the delivery of innovative and effective marketing communications, events, and campaigns.


The duties for this role will include:

  • Re-designing, managing and regularly updating the company website
  • Sourcing content and images, developing marketing collateral for clients
  • Working in collaboration with the graphic designer to develop and design brochures
  • Managing social media accounts and online brand reputation
  • Coordinating trade show artwork deadlines
  • Booking venues and liaising with the graphic designer for booth graphics
  • Directing telephone enquiries and offering information packs to clients
  • Some diary management, coordination, and scheduling
  • Organising functions, including venues and catering


The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience creating brochures - ideally in the mining sector
  • The ability to produce content for monthly social media posts
  • Experience creating and maintaining website content
  • Experience with image manipulation software (i.e. Photoshop)
  • Knowledge of marketing automation software tools (I.e. HubSpot, Infusionsoft, Ontraport)
  • Some EA / PA experience
