Video job advertisement

We constantly refresh, rewrite and reformat our job advertisements to optimise the quality of applications received. Our approach is aggressive - we post around 20 advertisements for every permanent job. Advertisements are posted on:

  • Job boards - Seek, Adzuna, Glassdoor, Indeed and Jora
  • Social media - LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
  • 11 Recruitment's website

On average, our advertisements receive over 100 applications and perform well above the market benchmark for Seek, shown in this graph.

The role

The Camp Manager is responsible for overseeing the running of the camp. This includes the management of staff, liaison with clients, and care for camps equipment and facilities. You will;

  • Endeavour to create and maintain a positive, friendly, and motivated work ethic around the camp
  • Set up camp and activities before the arrival of participants
  • Prepare daily schedules including before, during, and after activities 
  • Ensure staff, participants, and camp leaders are well informed of procedures and protocols
  • Assist in areas of maintenance

About you

You will receive the required training for this position. It is vital that you have a willingness to learn and be an enthusiastic "people-person". You will ideally have:

  • A passion for working with youth in an outdoor environment 
  • A positive attitude and demeanour 
  • Experience in a leadership position
  • The natural ability to form positive relationships with others
  • The ability to assess a situation rapidly and act decisively under pressure 
  • A manual driver’s license is essential
  • Experience working with marketing automation software
  • The ability to create lead magnets, conversion campaigns, sales pages etc.
  • Self-motivation and a strong work ethic
  • A current driver’s licence

You will also need the ability to obtain your Bronze medallion, First Aid Certificate and a Working with Children Check. 

About our client

Our client is located in the Peel region and provides exciting yet challenging activities for school groups. They are located on 105 acres and accommodate around 80 camps per year – making them one of the leading providers of outdoor recreation programs in WA.

There is currently a passionate team running 16 different outdoor recreation activities, and they are seeking a Camp Activity Manager to manage this team. You will lead a team of 6 instructors whilst simultaneously facilitating outdoor educational programs.

Assessment Matrix design

Our in-house designed, custom made software generates an Assessment Matrix, which is our blueprint for the recruitment process. Our process consists of screening, interviews, document verification, skills testing, personality profiling and reference checks.
