  • Social media - LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
  • 11 Recruitment's website

On average, our advertisements receive over 100 applications and perform well above the market benchmark for Seek, shown in this graph.

Applications Engineer

  • Work as part of the engineering team and report directly to the State Manager
  • Globally recognised organisation - power transmissions, speed drives and geared motors
  • Provide technical solutions and promote products to all market sectors
  • Graduate position - mechanical engineering degree or equivalent is essential

The role

The duties for this role will include:

  • Providing full assistance to the Industrial Gears Products Manager WA 
  • Managing sales of industrial gears and geared motor products, as required
  • Supplying necessary documents / drawings to customers and suppliers
  • Delivering product, service and technical information to existing and potential customers
  • Processing phone orders and monitoring progress
  • Revising order documentation
  • Recording and referring opportunities for sales of electronic products to engineers
  • Supplying appropriate data to sales / finance for account opening and approval
  • Accepting, recording and processing credit / return requests
  • Identifying, isolating and stopping products / services that are non-conforming or do not meet the quality expectations
  • Ensuring non-conforming products / services are brought to the attention of the quality team

About you

The successful candidate will have:

  • A mechanical engineering qualification, or an equivalent technical qualification
  • Sales experience - ideally in an engineering / projects-driven environment

They design, manufacture and service of power transmissions, drivers and gears, while working on the philosophy of "movement, innovation and quality."

They are regarded as one of the world’s leading specialists in their field and is located just South of the river, Perth. They employ approximately 15 staff in WA with the Australian head office in the Eastern States. This prestigious company is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer for their South of the River branch.
