Our client is a leading national provider of air-conditioning and building services solutions to commercial building owners, industrial centres, and retail outlets. Currently they have over 1,200 professionals throughout Australia and New Zealand and due to continued growth are now seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator to join the WA Team. About the opportunity
 
In this role, you will be responsible for completing project estimation works and preparing various quotations for installation projects within our client’s WA branch operations. You will provide technical advice on air conditioning plant and control systems and build strong client relationships. Collaborating closely with Project Managers and the national projects team, you will ensure seamless project execution from handover to completion.
 
In this role, you will:

• Estimate retro fit HVAC upgrades and fit outs.
• Provide technical advice to clients and team members.
• Prepare quotations and submissions for installation projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor other Estimators within the team.

 
About you
 
We are looking for a candidate who is experienced in mechanical estimation within the building services industry. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
 

• Relevant trade qualification with/or extensive mechanical estimation experience.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Strong team ethics.
• Basics of business finance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and office-based databases.
• Full driver’s license.
