About the opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Manager, and working alongside key departmental managers, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial viability and the strategic journey of the park. 
 
Utilising your excellent attention to detail, you will be responsible for the end-to-end payroll process. With a strong focus on casual employment requirements, you will review existing policies, procedures, and employment contracts to ensure they are congruent with current legislation. Utilising a proactive approach, you will follow up on outstanding timesheets and investigate discrepancies. 
 
Additionally, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Processing Superannuation, FBT, PAYG, and Payroll Tax
• Coordinating Worker’s Compensation and Apprenticeship Incentive claims
• Conducting VEVO checks where required
• Processing end-of-month journals
• Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Managing and reconciling company credit cards and petty cash
• Preparing financial reports
• End-to-end accounts payable
• Prepare revenue reports and financial board packs
• Internal audit of transactions
• Ad-hoc duties

The successful candidate will have a sound knowledge of accounting functions and a keen eye for detail, ensuring any variances are investigated to a resolution.
