Ampac is the largest independent and privately-owned manufacturer of Fire Detection and Emergency Warning Products based in Australia and we are dedicated to meeting the needs of our customers in the Fire Detection and Emergency Warning Industry in Australia and in selected overseas markets.As a consequence of staff movement, we require a suitable candidate as a Machine Operator for our operations in Perth Western Australia reporting to the PCB Assembly Supervisor.Accountabilities will include the following:Set up and run production batches on a Printed Circuit Board pick and place machine to ensure daily production targets are met.Ensure that manufactured printed circuit boards output adheres to required Quality Standards.Assist in scheduling the machines workload.Maintain Inventory Accuracy of components.Work with Production Engineering/Supply Chain on New Product Introduction.Feedback to R&D on component/footprint issues.Fault-finding of machine breakdowns and production problems.Carry out daily, weekly and monthly maintenance of the machine.Maintain production and quality records.Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates meeting the following criteria.
