Our client is a family-run company that designs and creates environmentally sustainable glamping accommodation. Their products are strategically designed to help resort owners and operators capitalise on the rapidly growing demand for unique eco travel concepts.

Video job advertisement

Social media algorithms favour videos over still content, so we create video advertisements for all vacancies to help source our candidates.

We post our videos on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook. They are posted on these platforms 10-20 times, based on relevance. Our videos typically receive over 1,000 views within the first 24 hours.

Job advertisement

We constantly refresh, rewrite and reformat our job advertisements to optimise the quality of applications received. Our approach is aggressive - we post around 20 advertisements for every permanent job. Advertisements are posted on:

  • Job boards - Seek, Adzuna, Glassdoor, Indeed and Jora
  • Social media - LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
  • 11 Recruitment's website

On average, our advertisements receive over 100 applications and perform well above the market benchmark for Seek, shown in this graph.

The role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our client's family-run product manufacturing business in Fremantle. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing a successful customer experience on the company's website or mobile applications solutions. 

Within this role you will manage all brand and marketing communications activity for the company, across both traditional and digital platforms.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for Eco Structures Australia and Eco Beach Resort
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all company collateral & communications
  • Management of all social media channels. Including scheduling, posting, and building strong client/customer relationships through social media interaction 
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and suppliers in relation to marketing, communication, and brand management initiatives
  • Prepare key presentations and reports for proposals and tender submissions
  • Prepare and deliver high quality marketing and sales collateral including print and digital
  • Manage the production and execution of all marketing email communications using Mailchimp and assist with Dynamics 365 
  • Liaise with sales team to develop and implement communication initiatives and campaigns, optimise customer experience, and ensure brand consistency
  • Preparation and management of resources required for trade shows, and overseas meetings and presentations
  • Monitor and analyse web, marketing and sales performance metrics to forecast trends and suggest solutions to boost web presence
  • Creation and management of company websites
  • Establish initiatives that deliver ongoing improvements to communications planning and execution
  • Research competitors and international markets to identify new opportunities and provide recommendations

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Marketing, or have equivalent Marketing experience. Given this role will involve working with people across the organisation, the successful candidate must be a team player and be able to work collaboratively with others across all levels of a business.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in the development and implementation of a successful marketing strategy for several divisions or brands 
  • Implementation, maintaining, evaluating, and evolving company marketing plans with KPI’s line with the organisation overall strategy
  • Developed successful customer experience / journey on a company’s website and mobile applications
  • Proven ability to evaluate website traffic, sales figures, and conduct research to determine organisation’s customer needs and to meet them
  • Previous experience in understanding company’s customers and able to translate into that into digital experience
  • Experience in designing the mechanics of websites or applications incl. visual design and navigation panes
  • Ability to create story boards and process flowchart to aid in content design
  • Conducting test to ensure all content features are functional, as well as analysing traffic patterns
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles such as lead generation and search engine optimisation
  • Social media management (postings and response management)
  • Management of Campaigns and tracking
  • Knowledge of current operational systems (Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Mailchimp, and InDesign)
