On behalf of the company, we are currently seeking an Office Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate office operations to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day functions. You will manage administrative tasks, support the logistics team, and contribute to optimizing workflows in alignment with company objectives.
Position Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Supervise administrative support staff, providing ongoing guidance and training to optimize operational efficiency.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new drivers, ensuring proper introduction to company policies, procedures, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, filing, and documentation, with a particular focus on logistics-related records such as shipment documentation, inventory tracking, and customer communications.
- Administer office budgets and expense reports, and assist in coordinating invoicing and payment processes related to transportation and logistics services.
- Address client enquiries, complaints, and orders, ensuring exceptional service in logistics scheduling and delivery management.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between drivers, administrative staff, and clients to ensure seamless transportation and logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations in office and business premises, specifically within the transportation and logistics environment.
- Oversee the management of office software and systems, including logistics tracking, fleet management, and inventory management systems.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or equivalent in business administration, logistics, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in office management, preferable in the logistics or transport industry.
- Knowledge of compliance standards related to transport and logistics.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or supply chain analytics is highly desirable.
Salary: This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $73,000 – $85,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
