About Us:  
Dirani’s MFC Supermarket in Werrington, Sydney, NSW 2747, is a local grocery store that offers a variety of products, including tobacco products, fresh produce, meats, and pantry staples. The supermarket is known for its diverse selection, catering to needs of the community. IT also feature speciality items, international foods, reflecting the area’s multicultural demographic. 
 
Duties: 

• Oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient processes, including inventory control, merchandising planning, and compliance with store policies.  
• Maintain high standards of customer service, resolve complaints effectively, and ensure a welcoming shopping experience.  
• Recruit, train, and manage staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment while monitoring team performance.  
• Prepare and manage budgets, monitor sales performance, analyse financial reports, and implement strategies to achieve profitability targets and accurate sales forecast.  
• Analyse sales data and industry reports to make informed decisions regarding product selection, negotiating pricing and terms with supplier to achieve optimal cost margins. 
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock ordering, and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products. 
• Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop contingency plans. 
• Ensure the store adheres to food safety and hygiene regulations, workplace health and safety standards, and relevant legislation. 
• Conduct thorough market research to plan and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal sales, and special events to boost customer engagement and sales. 

Qualifications and Skills : 

• Diploma in Business Administration or related field, or 3 years of relevant experience in managerial role. 
• At least one year of proven work experience as a Retail Manager preferably within the grocery and fresh produce industry. 
• Solid understanding of retail financials, including budgets, profit margins, and sales performance metrics. 
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and stock control practices. 
• Familiarity with food safety and workplace health and safety standards. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and team members. 
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff. 

Salary: 
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 – $80,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
