Our client is a locally-owned, operated and manufactured company that specialises in providing innovative solutions for lowering poles. With over 20 years of industry experience, they have capitalised on a gap in the market by being the sole provider to convert existing rigid poles into lowering poles.
 
Operating on a global scale, they have a diverse customer base ranging from domestic distributors and government clients to international mining, oil, and gas corporations. They offer unique solutions that enable clients to safely and efficiently lower, raise or pivot poles to carry out maintenance without the need for heavy machinery or work-at-heights personnel. 
 
 
Due to continued growth within the group, they are seeking a Junior Bookkeeper to join their team in a part-time capacity with the opportunity to work both within the office in Mandurah and from home. 
 
The Role
Reporting to the long-standing Group Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the organisation by completing the accounting functions for one entity within the group. Utilising your excellent attention to detail you will be responsible for all AP and AR invoices as well as fortnightly payroll. 
 
From time to time, you will provide accounts-related assistance to the wider Accounting and Management teams. 
 
Your additional duties may include:

• Payroll tax preparation
• GL reconciliations
• Financial reports
• Bank, balance sheet, and credit card reconciliations
• Maintain fixed asset register
• Ad-hoc duties as required

Please note that you may occasionally be required to attend on-site meetings in Mandurah. 
 
About you
You will have a proactive approach to accounts, ensuring all internal and statutory deadlines are met. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will allow you to liaise with various internal and external clients.
