Logistics Manager - Cromer NSW

Full-time Logistics Manager position available with competitive salary. Work in a dynamic team in Cromer NSW 2099.
 
Total Lining Systems (TLS) specializes in the design, supply and installation of engineered geosynthetic systems. Our client is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead and oversee supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient flow of materials from suppliers to clients.
 
This role involves managing procurement, logistics, distribution, and inventory control to support large-scale engineering projects.
 
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of geosynthetic systems and supply chain processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end supply chain for geosynthetic products, including procurement, logistics, and distribution.
  • Oversee inventory control and warehouse management to ensure optimal stock levels for project requirements.
  • Develop and implement efficient distribution strategies to meet project deadlines and reduce
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics
  • Collaborate with the design and installation teams to ensure the availability of materials for project timelines.
  • Monitor and report on supply chain performance, addressing any issues related to delays, shortages, or quality control.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers to ensure competitive pricing and
  • Ensure compliance with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all supply and distribution activities.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain operations and reduce
  • Manage and lead the supply and distribution team, providing training and development where
  • Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to forecast material needs and adjust supply plans accordingly.

 
Key Requirements

  • Related qualification
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in the industry
  • Strong understanding of procurement, logistics, and inventory management
  • Excellent leadership and team management
  • Strong negotiation and communication
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project
  • Knowledge of geosynthetic systems and materials is highly

Salary :
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 – $85,000, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
