Position Overview: Quest Chatswood is a highly regarded serviced apartment hotel, offering exceptional accommodation and services to both business and leisure travelers. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Full-Time Hotel Duty Manager to lead hotel operations and ensure an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth and efficient front-of-house services.
- Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and promptly address any guest inquiries or concerns.
- Supervise, train, and motivate hotel staff to maintain high service standards.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Ensure hotel security and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle administrative duties such as reporting, room allocations, and inventory management.
- Assist with budgeting, stock ordering, and financial reporting.
- Manage guest feedback and implement improvements as necessary.
Requirements:
- Relevant Qualification
- Proven at least 1-year experience in hotel management, front office, or a similar supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Capable of working effectively under pressure, particularly during peak times.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (knowledge of RMS or similar is an advantage).
Salary: Full-time position with competitive remuneration of $70,000 – $80,000 p.a., plus superannuation.
