Position Description:
As an Early Childhood Teacher at The Little Kids School, you will create a supportive and enriching learning environment that fosters the emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development of each child.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and organizing learning experiences in both indoor and outdoor settings, using diverse materials and tools to support students’ growth.
- Offering a range of activities to enhance motor skills, teamwork, confidence, and comprehension.
- Encouraging language development through storytelling, role-playing, songs, rhymes, and both individual and group discussions.
- Monitoring students’ progress to identify any health concerns, emotional challenges, or developmental difficulties.
- Ensuring students’ nutritional, safety, and well-being needs are met while addressing any factors that may hinder their progress.
- Communicating with parents about their child’s development and progress.
- Attending parent-teacher meetings, staff discussions, and committee gatherings.
- Engaging in community and family support initiatives as needed.
- Overseeing and mentoring student teachers during their training placements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
- At least 3 years’ proven experience in the field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.

Salary: $70.000 – $80.000 p.a. plus superannuation + superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
