Position Overview:
Structure Building & Renovations Pty Ltd, a dynamic and forward-thinking construction company with a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, specialising ina wide range of construction services, including new builds, renovations, and remodelling projects in the Randwick, NSW 2031 area, We are seeking an experienced and dedicated full time Carpenter to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your trade skills to a wide variety of renovation projects while working alongside a passionate and professional team in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out all aspects of carpentry work for residential and commercial renovations, including framing, decking, and cabinetry.
- Read and interpret building plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine the layout and requirements of each project.
- Install doors, windows, flooring, and other structural elements with precision and care.
- Measure and cut wood, drywall, and other materials to the required dimensions.
- Ensure all carpentry work meets building codes, safety standards, and company quality standards.
- Assist in the demolition and preparation of sites for new installations or renovations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Manage and maintain tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience at least 1 year as a Carpenter, ideally with experience in both residential and commercial renovations.
- Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing requirements.
- A commitment to health and safety on the job site.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport (preferred).
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience. This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration between $70,000 – $80,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
