SMYL Community College (the College) requires a suitably qualified and experienced person for the position of Campus Coordinator at one of our south west metropolitan campuses. The College is a referral only ‘Curriculum and Re-engagement in Education' (CARE) School that caters specifically for students who have disengaged from mainstream education.  The College offers a full-time alternative education programme under the School Education Act 1999 (WA) for 14 to 17 year olds.All students referred to the College have significant barriers to education. Teaching and learning is adjusted, and support services provided, to meet students’ needs. As a CARE school the College ‘provides a programme of study meeting the needs of an individual student delivered through an Individual Education Plan’.The successful applicant would be required to lead a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team whose objective is to engage all students in learning, no matter how difficult their behaviour.
