The Role
Your new position as a Bookkeeper & Office administrator will include, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Preparing weekly reports
  • Preparing monthly financial statements
  • Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements
  • Accounts payable tasks, including invoice entry, payments in both domestic and foreign currency, and statement reconciliations
  • Have full experience in AP, AR, Reconciliation, Month and Year-End
  • Be able to lodge and pay Superannuation
  • Stock control, including costing stock and stocktakes
  • General administrative duties
  • Handle reception answer all incoming calls, take messages and redirect calls.

About You:

To be successful for this role you will be expected to meet the following criteria:
  • Have MYOB experience (AccountRight is essential)
  • Solid Australian bookkeeping experience essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Accurate data entry and attention to detail
  • Be able to investigate any discrepancies
  • Meet all Statutory and Internal deadlines
