Our client is one of Australia's largest regional theme parks, known for providing fun, entertainment, and exceptional customer experiences. They treat their food and beverage experience as an attraction across multiple outlets, licensed bars, and fully catered events. They are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager/Catering Manager to join their management team.
About the opportunity
As the Kitchen Manager/Catering Manager, you'll lead a team to deliver exceptional food and beverage experiences in a unique venue. Your role will involve planning menu development, high-volume kitchen operations, kitchen compliance, team leadership, and assisting with the expansion of the bar and grill function space. You will lead a team of casual and experienced professionals to deliver at multiple food and beverage outlets, licensed bar offerings and catered events, all in one unique venue.

In this role, you will
- Lead and manage a diverse team, emphasising recruitment, training, and development.
- Oversee high-volume food and beverage operations with a focus on quality and consistency.
- Drive compliance and safety protocols across commercial kitchens and outlets.
- Expand the bar and grill function space, driving growth and innovation
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences through strong leadership and a hands-on approach.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Extensive experience as a Chef leading a team or high-volume commercial kitchen management experience
- Experience in recruitment, training, and leading operational teams
- Strong focus on compliance, safety, and quality standards
- Proven background in high-volume commercial kitchen operations
- Strong organisational and planning ability
- Relevant licenses and accreditations, including Food Safety Supervisor Level 2.
- A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
